Giving Blood restrictions: What's your opinion?
I'm doing a paper on the restrictions that many companies that collect blood have today. MSM, Nigerians and people born in other countries or that have been in select countries for more than five years are ineligible to the Red Cross as well as many other organizations. How do you feel about these? Do you guys have any personal experience or a strong opinion?? Anything will help me to get a better perspective on this topic. Thanks for reading!

yes i am from Ethiopia and was not allowed to donate blood due to my HIV/AIDS. I think it is somewhat discriminatory, they could give my blood to other HIV/AIDS patients.
