Maimi marlins question.?

They have a new stadium, a new look, and dropped a ton of money for a great closer, a tempermental starter, a hot mess of a manager and a short stop that will not only be injured 60 games but isn't even the best ss on their team. What are the chances they still only draw twelve fans by mid season?

They'll do fine this season, it's next season and the seasons after that. If they don't win consistently, they have no chance. Bad enough they put the stadium in a crappy area.

Very slim. The Marlins' biggest problem in term on attendance was their stadium. Their old digs were a football stadium, which is awful for watching baseball.

Add to that the oppressive heat, humidity and constant rain delays. and throw in the fact that the stadium was not even IN Miami, and you have a perfect storm of reasons to not show up in person for a game.

So... even if the team is as bad this year was it was last (which is highly unlikely) they'll see a noticeable bump in paid attendance and actual attendance.

twelve fans by mid season is a gross understimate of their drawing power. so the chances are excellent. great question, you should be a cop. Regards, Harry

I believe they will have a good year attendance and ratings wise. They draw great numbers on tv,they are going to be on showtime this year.So it should be a money making year.I dont know about there baseball team though.????

I mean if everything goes wrong that you pointed out, maybe. But even then the new ballpark might save them (combination of amenities and location - they are now in downtown miami)
