Is the Republican primary still a contest between the guy who wants to be a polygamist and a Mormon?

    No... Santorum, is now in the lead... Newt, (the polygamist) is way down there... Mitt, is running a close second.... With Mitt's religion, I guess he could fit your description, as well...

    Polygamy is being married to more than one wife at one time. Since Gingrich was never married to more than 1 wife at a time, he cannot be classified as a polygamist. That's not to say what he did was not wrong. Having a mistress while being married is wrong. Then to divorce the wife to marry the mistress is outrageous, and to do it twice, I won't say what that is. I would think that his 3rd wife is probably looking at him very closely to make sure it doesn't happen her.
