Which fuse do I need for headlights on a Subaru Legacy?
I have a '95 Subaru Legacy and the low beam headlights do not work. (The high beams do) I read that this is probably a fuse problem, but I don't have an owner's manual so I'm not sure what kind of fuse I need to fix it or which fuse it is. Would I be better off taking my car to a mechanic, or is this something I can do myself?

no it,s not the fuse or the high beams would not work either. sounds like the dimmer switch then the fuse. the dimmer switch is what turns the lights from high beam to low and low to high.

if both low beams went out at the same time then its probably the dimmer/brights switch, but it could be just the bulbs, I would still check them first

they may be the comparable bulb (some have intense and occasional). in case you have the owner's handbook look in there. It tells you what variety they desire and the thank you to swap them. i'm thinking they are the comparable bulb meaning you will could purchase 2.
