Interesting question looking at the answers and people answering.

seems the MX riders think US

and the Road/track riders think Europe. !

Im with Wiggysan. Got to go with Spain at the moment.

Early as possible. they start younger there.

Move back to UK at 15

If money was no object, I would consider Japan if struggling in Spain

somewhere to develop wet weather skills against some of the fastest in the world.

    even wetter than the UK.

But for Road/Track it has to be Spain.

United states. Specifically either florida or southern california. All that garbage about having a facebook page and uploading youtube videos to attract sponsors is just that...garbage. Speaking from experience, the only way to obtain sponsors that give you decent contracts is to produce results at the nationals. ie loretta's, red bud, Mini O's.. ect. Finishing in top positions there will get you the attention from sponsors...there is a TON of traveling involved with going to all the nationals, so I hope you have a buisness that you dont have to be at or are just sitting on a chit load of $$$ traveling all over the nation and living with minimal income is difficult. Contengecy is typically only paid to the top 3 riders at nationals...motocross is not a poor mans sport

Really depends on where you're at now.

If you're in the US, I'd stay there. The UK is big in MX, but I still think the US is a better shot for you. There are more tracks in the US and it's just more popular.

He could make a fan page on Facebook to get sponsors fast, if he has this potential you speak of. Upload videos constantly to YouTube and this fan page and wait to get some fans. Sponsors will love to have him. Even something big, like Pro Circuit or One Industries.

Traveling to a different country with his bike isn't going to make him go pro any faster. He needs to keep practicing, and get some sponsors. He needs to get some mad points. If he's getting 1st every race in even a 450 novice class, then there's definitely potential in him.

You could get an AMA license and put him in arenacross. That's where most riders started their pro careers such as Justin Brayton.

Again, traveling to another country won't change his luck. He needs sponsors from America to get big.

    AUSTRALIA for sure!!

A heap or my mates are sponsored by ALOT of people. This one guy, Joel Brown was that good around our local area (just a small town) that he was OFFERED a spot with Nitro Circus. He flys all over for freestyle events, he goes to SPAIN and AMERICA to just ride for a week, all expenses paid and he gets to take his bike with him. Which, he also gets his bikes for free, because he's sponsored by Yamaha. His girlfriend gets to travel with him and gets VIP acess at all the events. He rides with Travis Pastrana and Travis has even been to his house. Its a piece of cake to get recognised here and we have ALOT of awesome motocross tracks

The UK is the perfect place to get big in MX. Save the emigration money and spend it on a large campervan with a mechanics area and get round every competition on the Nationals Circuit. Once he starts to get sponsorships you'll know he is heading in the right direction.

Britain, Europe or the US will give the opportunities if he has the ability. Begin with enough money to go for a couple of years without any income at all; underfunding will bring the whole project to a screaming stop if you haven't done your budget right...

AB Racing has got it. US is the place to train and win to have any chance anywhere else. I by train I mean don't forget to peddle. All my racers have a strict diet and training program OFF the track.
