Yes of course you could be pregnant, unprotected sex makes babies and since you are 5 days late there is a good chance. Take a test in the morning before you eat or drink anything as this dilutes the urine and makes the result weak and inaccurate.

Possibly, I was 6 days overdue for my period and was having a weird tight sensation in my lower abdomen it then turned to a heavy feeling and bloating. I had a bad gassy feeling up until I was 7 weeks too which was not the greatest. As for the diarrhoea I had that exact same thing about three days overdue but it started to turn to constipation ( sorry tmi ). I took a test and it was a faint positive so me and my fiancee rushed to asda at midnight and bought like 5 more tests, the lines got darker over the days. Then come 6 weeks along all the nasty first trimester symptoms kicked in...

If it's been 5 days since your missed period, you should take a HPT now. Taking it in the morning with your first pee would be best, because you have more of the pregnancy hormone in your urine for the test to catch. If it comes out negative, then wait another week and test again.

5 days late on your period warrants a test to be taken :)

im 8 weeks pregnant tomorrow and when i found out i was pregnant i ate everything insight lol glad that has stopped a bit now. moodiness like pms is a sign also, and as for the lose bowel movement (like diarrhoea) im always like that in all my pregnancies never constipated
