Can you use one or two sick days while in the Seattle police academy?

Seattle Police send their recruits to the Criminal Justice Training Commision in Burien, WA. You would have to abide by their rules. When I went through the academy, you had to prove you were sick. The academy moves too fast for you to miss days and they don't stop to let you make it up.
