Can you use one or two sick days while in the Seattle police academy?

My wife and I live in MN and where she works now they have an odd policy. If you work you maximum 30 hours a week you will get paid for that(obviously). In her case if she worked over 30 hours the remainder would be added to the next week. If she worked over 30 hours in that week as well she won't get paid for those hours worked until she falls under the 30 hour baseline.

So basically she doesn't get paid for hours worked in a given pay period if she goes over her base number of hours.

Is this legal? It doesn't seem that way to me.

A day ago my truck had been scratched in our apartments parking lots. It is a permit only lot and there are not more then 30 cars and of those only 6 are black. I saw my truck had a small dent and a black paint transfer so I grabbed my measuring tape and some paper for notes. I got the height from the ground and so the scratch height and width. If I were able to identify which vehicle is the culprit would I be able to get them to fix it? What if they said they were not in or driving their vehicle when the dent occurred? Aside from possibly creating a panic when I was examining the cars earlier today and at night am I ok to do the searching? I had done it once before when I was given the go ahead on active duty and I assume as long as I don't touch any other cars I should be well within my legal rights. Thoughts?

My wife and I were on a recent road trip in her older vehicle, a 2000 Oldsmobile Alero. A couple hours into the drive the Service Engine Soon, Trac Off, and the Anti-Lock light came on all at the same time. We tried to reset the lights since we were on a bumpy road and though that may be the cause. That didn't do it and we decided to continue out trip.

After the car has been at rest for a bit the light won't come on for at least half an hour then it pops back on again? The first time it happened at around 60mph but that one the only time now it's more sporadic but it never comes on right away.

Any help would be much appreciated thank you.

I just bought a truck that came with a tonneau cover from a dealership. It has been almost 2 months and I needed to roll up the cover. When I did I found out the straps that are used to secure it were cut off by someone at the dealership or who it was lent to. It was the dealers loaner vehicle and I am guessing someone who borrowed it cut the straps.

I have no way of keeping it rolled up now and I called the dealership already. They will not replace it so what can I do because it should be in working condition after buying it.

I have a Vader and Luke card from the very first edition (Premier) of the CCG. How much can I unload each of these cards for?

I want to make a column and its cells turn from green to yellow to red. Say for example todays date and 45 days from now I want it to turn yellow and 45 days after that I would like it to turn red. Any help on the matter would be awesome.

I used to be able to connect wirelessly to my router fine and my other computer isn't having trouble at all. Currently I am able to connect for about a day at the most without being booted off. I will be shown a message saying (limited connectivity) or (local only). I am running vista and have gone into command prompt to type in (netsh int ip reset) and (ipconfig /release then ipconfig /renew). These fixes as mentioned only last a little while then I am forced out and can't connect unless I restart my laptop.

I am having no trouble on my other laptop and on the one in question I can connect to other routers without any problem.

Please help me out and thanks in advance.

Umm, I have a small problem...lets say it is the opposite of those with ED...in the fact that it tends to be easily excited even when I am not thinking of anything...I don't get off early during intercourse. I am just walking around a store...always with my GF and we hold hands or something and I jsut need to stop.

I think it was those underware but do I need some kind of pill to ease this or soemthing.

We never had a lease and I am paid in ful and move out. We agreed to bi weekly payments and I just moved out because she lost her job and wanted me to give her one payment of $400 instead of bi weekly.

Because I have moved out PAID IN FULL and w/o a lease is there anything she can do to me?

I have done some looking into these companies. Each requires around $500 in an account to start trading. I can fund that easily and know a good deal about investments. I also know that for some stocks I may need an investor to buy them for me.

The money I put in to open an account, is that money I can use to buy stocks, or is it a buffer, so if I lose money it eats into that? Simply put do I have to use more money after the $500 to buy stocks?

I plan on investing in Vanguard funds and several $20-30 stocks. What are your experiences in Vanguard? What stocks work best for you? I have been learning for the last 3 years. I am now ready to put some money into this.

What are your thoughts?

I came across this and it just as I kept hitting show me another the same names kept popping up. I have added the link to this persons Answers Profile..... check out all his/her answers. Notice the same 3 names popping up? They are the same person.

It is so funny that this person thinks they havn't been caught. Has anyone else seen this before on other persons? Is there a way to report this? I don't think report abuse covers it but I am about to find out.

When no-one has voted or or several have and there is a tie on a question it gets put into tiebreaker mode.

How long does it take before a question whose votes no longer come out in a tie ends.

When is it no longer considered a tie? I have seen several questions that arn't ties anymore. So when?

I am bored at work w/ this task I was given 3 months ago. It is an ongoing thing and very very pointless. The goal of said task is to make see how many companies are not getting things we sent them. So far only 2 companies have not gotten something. This is out of over 350 companies.

The last time I was bored with work I joined the Marine Corps. Right now I have a sort of friendship with the #3 person. The number 1 isn't here alot. The #2 who delegated this isn't speaking up to #1 saying this is a waste of man hours.

I am not being challenged and it pisses me off. Should I mention this to #3 who has saaid this is a waste before. I want to do real work, not sit here making phone calls and begine bored to tears.

Oh there was another person helping me but he got another job. He went looking cause he was bored out of his mind too. I don't want to leave. Anyway when he left I had to take his workload onto mine. Now I am so swamped it's not even close to a giggle.

I have never encountered this problem before using MS Excel. In order for me to work at a good pace I copy my info from my companies online source. In doing so I copy the hyperlink and paste everything into excel.

Last week and all the weeks before I would right click and chose remove hyperlink. This got rid of the pasky link that I didn't need so I can color code and outline things. I also didn't have to re-type things.

Right now the remove hyperlink thing does not show up and I can't find it in the top tool bar. Can anyone tell me where the heck I can find it. It is a valuable tool.
