Image Distance and Object Distance?
I have a science question. Here it is...: Convex lens are used in film projectors. Explain whyyour favorite movie stars are truly "larger than life" on the screen in terms of image and object distance.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

1/o + 1/i = 1/f
o = object dist
i = image dist
f = focal length
If i = large.....and 'f' is a constant, which it is, then you have:
1/o = 1/f - 1/i
So as the image 'i' gets bigger 1/i gets smaller, and this means that 1/o gets closer and closer to the value of 1/f.
I included a nice link below that goes thru this (lens equation) nicely.
