Don't have back extension machine .. please help ?

my gym doesn't have hyperextension machine .. can i do it on decline crunch bench or i will hurt my lower back ?

and this exercice is important in my routine or i can skip it ?

    you can do supermans, birdogs, or pressups. do extensions off a swiss ball or bosu. If your not sure of the motions I described look it up on google. Most of these can be done with medicine balls or free weights
