How to tastefully put it out there of dealership upping the price on me, but then selling it cheaper?

We were looking for a van for my family. Most cars we've bought are usually from a private person.

I took a friends recommandation on this used car lots cause she knows the owner and he wouldnt do us wrong, he has a fmaily too & would give us a good deal and help us. We went there and fell in love with a van, It was ours! We didnt sign anything but he was holding it for us. They needed to clean it and do alittle maintence work on it but the price wouldnt change price of 3295.00. At first we told him our top limit would be 3500.00 but was really tring to stay at about 3 grand. He wouldnt lower the price to 3 grand for us but offer us to make payments on 295.00 (LOL!). We went the next day/time when he told us - He says they found alittle more work that had to be done so another day or two but the price wouldnt change. This was a weekend so we didnt go looking for anything else cuz the guy had us hooked on this van. Then he calls - the vans ready to pick up. ten mins later, Wait its not ready and we have found more work that has to be done and will rasie the price 400-500 dollars. We still were thinking it, cuz we did have out hearts set on this. (luckly the exceitment of it didnt get us stuck) few days later, We told him we just werent comfortable with the price nowmfortable now with it, But if you have something else that comes in, in our price range let us know. Well then we see the van sitting out on the lot for a few days, last weekend we drove by and the price is hugely on the window 3295.00! The orignal price that we were wanting to get the van for!! Im pissed off and feel that cuz he "had us" and was able to franagle a way to up the price to our TOP LIMIT! I am glad that I did find another van from another used car lot, the van was two years OLDER but 60,000 LESS miles on it and it was the same price of 3295.00 and we offered cash sale and was able to get the van for 2700.00! So Im not van shopping anymore but do feel bussiness build a reputation with the way they handle things. I very very much wan tto put on facebook to spread the word about this issue! I do feel bad cuz I dont want my friends feeling being hurt of my negitive expereince with him, But I am using my expereice of it as word of mouth and going to plaster this on facebook so my friends will know that I feel like I was going to be taken for.

Now - What exactly should I post on facebook? Heres an exmaple maybe?:

Guess my thought of used car dealerships havent changed completely,I felt I was tring to be taken.

Dealer do have the right to change the price of a car-

Good thing I have the right not to purchase it, But funny that they could have had a sale with me but changed the price. Of course the next guy got it for a lower price.

Guess a family was an easy target to try and get more money of them.

Update:

without emotions the van was 3295.00 needed work that he had to up the price 500.00.

We backed out of it, we wanted the van for 3295.00.

Week later the van is on the lot with the price of 3295.00, so the work was done and the price didnt affect the next buyer.

Update 2:

its worth my time to make sure other people know my expereince with him, I will share my expereince and not that he would care but make sure NOT to send anyone to his car lot.

Update 3:

You are going about it all wrong , You are buying a car not trying to make a new friend, your emotions should not be involved in the deal making.

Unfortunatley, you're going to now not get the auto for $zero, that was once onviously a misprint or a miscommunication in view that no person will promote a auto for zero, at that factor its now not promoting however making a gift of. I am certain if you're interested within the Kia, that the trader will paintings with you to make to mistake paintings to your improvement. It may be very difficult to uncover a certifiable auto that's safe for three-four hundred greenbacks, you fairly do get what you pay for and a auto is not any exceptional. If you wish to shop for junk, there will likely be a wide variety of automobiles and men inclined to promote it to you.

Get over yourself. They can sell the van for whatever they want.

How great of a van could it be anyway? They did you a favor. ANY van for 3000 at a dealership is going to be a piece of sh!t! PERIOD!

Move on with your life. It's not worth the time to even type your comment on facebook, nor the time it took you to type your rant here.

Stupid question. Get over it and move on with your life. It's a waste of time.

    EDIT:

What? You stupid *****! You typed in more bullsh!t than anyone I've ever seen on here and you say that to me? Pot callin the kettle black don't ya think?

Bottom line is that you are a moron. I just did a search within 100 miles of my location and there are a ton of 3000.00 minivans out there.

Get over it and move on with your life you stupid (unt.

I really get tired of idiots on this forum. You want to bash the dealership to all your idiot friends on FB?? Well, good for you. That will get your no where. PLUS, how much money do you really think that dealership will lose NOT selling 3000.00 minivans to you and your broke-a$$ friends?? Trust me, that van is sold for what they asked and they are not losing any sleep over your dumba$$.

Go ahead, report my answer, but I call 'em how I see em.
