What is the best way to store my spare phone battery?
I have a Samsung G2 and I've bought an extended battery, which means the stock battery has been rendered useless for every day life. I'd like to keep the battery in good condition in case I ever need to carry a spare.
What is the best way to store the battery so that it stays in the best condition?
So far I've heard that I should keep it at 40% charge and in a cold (<0 degrees environment).
What do you recommend?
Thanks

How you store your battery depends on a couple of factors.
If you have already used the battery then it should be store in a cool dark place at about 70% charged. You will need to take it out and give it a 75% charge about once a month.
If you have not yet used your battery then do not charge it at all. These batteries have a five year shelf life and will store nicely.
Good luck!
