not enough information to really help you. You can open device manager and look for your sound card and see if it has a yellow ! next to it. If it does reinstall drivers. Or you can click start and type in sound then chose the one that says sound in the window that opens right click on the sound device ur trying to use and make sure "set to default device" is checked
