Religion Makes countries lose money?
I feel that religion is a pile of BS and a waste of tax payers money, the priests should get a useful job instead of feeling up kids, if people dedicated their church time to the community and society then the world would be a better place. Also churches are a waste of space, the government could build houses in their place and would help overcrowding. Because if people are so dedicated to their so-called god, then they can worship him at home, because apparently he's everywhere.
So, who would agree ? and do you think my dream would ever happen ?

I think a church is like any other business and should not be exempt from taxes. I also think I'm wasting my time and energy waiting for that to change.

What was the reason the Pilgrims came here in the first place? Do you have an answer? It is to flee religious persecution and to establish freedom of religion. It's number one in the Constitution. Churches don't get "tax" payers money. There are other Christians besides these pedophile priests. There are Christians helping their community. We have gone out and fed 500 plus homeless and destitute in our neighborhood. We've opened up food banks, helped the elderly when they live alone and can't care for their own housekeeping or lawn maintenance. We helped widows with providing food from our food banks, and given them clothes to put on their children. We've visited prisons and encouraged them to change their lives for the better. If all we did was stay at home and prayed to God, who would rise up in the community to give this kind of help? Your dream is destructive. If you have such a hatred for the people of God, then maybe you would serve yourself and others more if you would quit being judge and jury and start being a better person.

Is Atheism a religion? Many would argue that it is not,let's look at the "evidence", Let's take a look at what "religion" is and how it is defined;
Websters Dictionary states the following; Definition of RELIGION
1a: the state of a religious <a nun in her 20th year of religion>
b: the service and worship of God or the supernatural (2) : commitment or devotion to religious faith or observance
2: a personal set or institutionalized system of religious attitudes, beliefs, and practices
3: archaic : scrupulous conformity : conscientiousness
4: a cause, principle, or system of beliefs held to with ardor and faith
IT is obvious what definition 1a,and 1b are referring to but let us examine definition 2, 3, and 4.
Definition 2 clearly defines Atheism as a religion, for let us ask ourselves, does Atheism hold to any "personal or institutionalized systyms of religious attitudes?
Of coarse they do, they hold to what they claim to be the "Scietific method" or "systymatic theorum" for attaining knowledge of the following. "the origin of man", "evolutionary theory" and "how the universe came into existence". Do Atheists have beliefs and practices to support these institutional or personal attitudes? You bet they do, there are institutions all over the world that preach the doctrine of"Atheism".
Does Atheism fall into the category of Definition 3? Do they scrupuously endeaver with all consceientiousness to conform to Atheistic doctrine? Of coarse they do!
What about definition 4? Their cause is to denounce Theism and especially Mono-Theism all the while to systymatically promote Atheistic principles and beliefs with ardor and great passion of faith in their doctrine.
Now let's take a look at what dictionary .com has to say.
re·li·gion [ri-lij-uhn] noun
1.a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe, especially when considered as the creation of a superhuman agency or agencies, usually involving devotional and ritual observances, and often containing a moral code governing the conduct of human affairs.2.
a specific fundamental set of beliefs and practices generally agreed upon by a number of persons or sects: the Christian religion; the Buddhist religion.
3.the body of persons adhering to a particular set of beliefs and practices: a world council of religions.
4.the life or state of a monk, nun, etc.: to enter religion.
5.the practice of religious beliefs; ritual observance of faith.
"A SET OF BELIEFS CONCERNING THE CAUSE, NATURE AND PURPOSE OF THE UNIVERSE".
Wow does Atheism hold to this definition or what?
i'm not even going to spend any more time on this, it is obvious that Atheism is a religion and anyone who says it isn't, is in denial of the truth.
everyone is religious, Atheism is a religion. and it is impossible to know %'s of these things with a world population of 7 billion.
Thank you and Love Peace Joy.
