Why does it matter that much who is right, science vs religion?

For thousands of years people have always tried to push their beliefs on each other. From religion, to politics, to science, to raising children, and on end on. Even we find it difficult to stay in marriage together.

Many years man went through bitter fighting, even most Americans left England in the early days because of religious persecution, or political beliefs. That is how America started.

Wars have been fought for trivial issues, relatively, but they have been fought.

Man will never stop the act, all we can do is try and live with each other.

It is much harder to do when you have leaders showing the way, rather then convincing people to work together and get along. America is becoming what their ancestors ran away from.

Cannot answer your question, but hope this explains a bit of what is one of mans worst traits.

It matters because the nuts try to legislate their beliefs and that is more than I will stand for.

Being polite is just too main stream.

The Bible says: "As far as it depends on you, be peaceable with all men."

But as you have noted, many who say that they follow the Bible, don't do that.
