    I think you mean 'intellectuals'

If people stopped going to school, we would have a dumb generation, a generation of people without learning and without the ability to learn (full learning ability is gained by going to school)

Therefore, by contrast yes, we would have a generation of intellectuals, as the older generations who did go to school would be considerably more intelligent than the morons and numpties that didn't.

I really hope you weren't trying to build an argument for not going to school.

Perhaps you could elaborate on your reasoning why they would be "intellects" if they stop going to school?

In my opinion, even though a lot of schools could be much better, kids still need a basic scholastic foundation on things that are considered common knowledge (math, grammar, spelling, reading) and without school many kids will never learn this since parents rely on schools to teach rather than teaching their kids at an early age and giving them a head start.

But... on the other hand, without structured learning, kids may be more creative. Who knows?

What is an intellect? Even the most slack jawed, brainless, worthless moron has some kind of intelligence, and there would be an awful lot more of those about if kids didn't go to school.

No, it will worsen the issue, intellect comes from common sense & introspection
