Is there some anime like Die Hard or the Dresden Files?
What I mean by this is, is there a main character like John McClane and Harry Dresden? A snarky main character that when faced with difficult situations makes dauntless quips. When addressing the bad guys he fires off sarcastic smart aleck retorts. By the end of the fight it looks like he/she has been put through a meat grinder, but still comes back and does it again.
