Obviously the system is dependent on the equations...
And yes the ans is (1, 3) = {x=1, y=3}
To verify just put the values on the equations, if left hand sides comes like right hand sides your ans is correct.
And the method to solve is just solution of the equations..
You just solve the equations in any method and the ans will come (1,3)
