Diane Abbott is still an MP and the only people who can stop her being an MP are those who elect her to office.

If you refer to her post within the Labour party, well she has apologised for the comments she made on Twitter.

Personally, I do not think that she is racist. I do think that she is a fool though, one example being with the way she called for people not to send their kids to a private school and then did so herself. While her son has come out explaining the decision, she herself has never done so.

  • Actually she isn't a racist because she repeatedly speaks out in favour of 'british jobs for british workers' although that puts her out of favour with the parliamentary labour party socialist wing she has signed up to.

The whole business about Finnish nurses was actually about local jobs for local people, black or white, and she has also challenged why such a small minority of east end London residents of all ethnicities have not been employed on the builiding of the Olympic stadium in east London in preference to foreign short term workers.
