How do I look (Profile Pic), be descriptive to what you find attractive/unattractive?
Hey, I've been really interested in how people perceive each other, so I thought I'd ask this question. I chose Singles and Dating because, well, people are judgemental and vocal, so it's perfect! And no, I'm not interested in getting attention like you all probably think.
Here's the deal, when I look in the mirror, I look pretty damn good, but when I take a photo, I look like I crawled out of a toilet. Now, I know that other people look the same in both to me, but what I can't tell is whether my perception of them is how they see themselves in the mirror or how they see themselves on cam.
So here are the questions:
1. Do you have the same problem of looking good 'IRL' then looking crap in photos?
2. Do you see people the same in photos and real life?
3. How do I look? What are my attractive and unattractive features?
Yes, I'm quite aware people have personal tastes, I'm taking that into account (in other words, I'll disregard if you don't find me attractive because I haven't got tattoos and piercings etc.).
Gah, thinking about it, my pic is still to small even in profile view. Just do the best you can, I can't be stuffed setting up flickr -_-

@Jenny: Didn't directly answer my question, I guess you assumed I have a problem with getting women because I'm on here, I can assure you I have a problem with one GIRL and nothing more, I just chose to withdraw myself from socialising for a while.

Anyone can look great in one picture and awful in another, yet it's the same person.
Perception is up to the individual, however if you want to make a good impression overall,
specially with females, make sure your teeth are WHITE and straight, smell good (put cologne), have a trendy haircut, shave (chest, face, underarm) or even shaped scruffy beards are sexy to me but
then again that's personal taste. Most importantly to be a good looking man, gain some muscle mass and nice definition in your shoulders and arms. Fat nor skinny is attractive.
Studies have revealed females of all ages and backrounds, from puberty, prefer muscular man (not with steroids but those who work out and look strong).
Last but not least Confidence will make you sexy, walk straight and with your head up. Smile and flirt, yes guys do it too and it works, lol

1. The problem with crappy photos is bad lighting. You can make extremely ugly people look attractive with some decent lighting, angles, makeup, and photoshop skills.
2. If you see 10 different photos of another person, you'll base your perception on that person's 'average' appearance, while people like to base their own self-perception on their best images.
3. Not sure if you're looking for a heterosexual guy's opinion, but I can't see many people calling you ugly. I'm alright with how I look but I wouldn't mind looking like you either.
