Don't know what Bible you are reading from and what deuteronomy 22:5 is.

I would say that wearing women's underwear is effeminate by definition.

If anyone would care to argue the point, I'm open to a discussion.

People do not go to heaven or hell based upon their clothing. What matters is your relationship to God.

Think about it. If a girl wore pants before 1955 she went to hell, but girls today can wear pants and go to heaven. If a Scotsman wears kilts, he is okay, but if you wear kilts you go to hell. Your clothing values are just social convention and social convention varies according to time and customs.

Jesus never wore pants.

So what is Deuteronomy 22:5 really about? The Jews used to practice separation of the genders, and there was NO mingling of the sexes. Deu 22:5 is about preserving this Jewish practice. They believed that if a woman dressed as a man it would be for mingling with men and lead to fornication. And if a man disguised as a women then he will mingle with women and this will lead to fornication. (See the link below)

If you have a panty fetish, then just keep it under control and private. Christians are supposed to practice self-control and not have addictions. So set your own limits and keep to them.

Your interpretation of "effeminate" is NOT Biblical. The Greek word from which the King James Bible gets the word “effeminate” is malakos, which literally means something soft to the touch, but is used as a negative metaphor to refer to a boy kept for homosexual relations with a man. The “abusers of themselves with mankind” are those men who engage in unnatural sexual relations with other men – homosexuals. That is also how the NASB, the NKJV, and the NIV translate that verse. Also in the New Testament is verse 7 from the book of Jude, defining exactly why Sodom and Gomorrah were punished – homosexuality.

Well you can get comfy men's underwear these days as well. Just shop around. But only you know exaclty what gratification you get out of wearing women's.

with as many translations and re-edited bibles there are...... a religious person could twist the bible to fit their agenda's/beliefs as they see fit. So I don't think that you'll get a right answer....

also I HIIIIIGHLY doubt that there anything in the real original bible (written in Hebrew) that tells anything of wearing clothes of the opposite gender.....

A LOT of people are cross-dressers to some extent. Women get away with cross-dressing much more easily than men would. We show off that we're wearing pants.

This is certainly an awkward question...though I'm pretty sure god is all against that.
