Firstly, Iraq is not in a mess. As a matter of fact, they have more money than we do. They are currently enjoying a surplus (don't take my word for this...look it up.). What really doesn't make sense is why Bush is not on trial for lying to the public about the missing WMD's. Clinton gets a BJ, and he gets impeached, but Bush screws up everything, and nobody bats an eye. The Irony. Afghanistan is supposedly were Osama bin Laden is, which, if I remember correctly (you know, cuz the news hadn't talked about him in so long) orchestrated 9/11, is supposed to be hiding (in some cave with a dialysis machine). As far as going back to Iraq, the US should not have been there in the first place. Saddam Hussein had nothing to do with 9/11, and in fact hated Al-Qaeda. Of course, Obama is not going to make things better, but that would be a reason why people support him. I don't. Neither do I support McCain, either.

He is better than any republican I have seen...With the exception of Ron Paul, i really do like old Ron but he doesnt have a chance of winning so theres no point trying to support him....All the others are a bunch of millionaire businessmen..Sorry, but I can not relate to a millionaire, and they can not relate to me...they have no idea what its like to work 50 hours a week just to scrape by.....And just look at the last republican we had....Spent 2.5 trillion on 2 wars, spent $700 billion on bailouts to banks, another $7 billion to Haliburton (which was an illegal scam), we were attacked by terrorists, he never caught Bin Laden (Obama did!), gas prices more than doubled (and Bush owns oil companies), no child left behind was Bush's big plan to have all public school students be 100% efficient in rading and math by 2014 and right now it stands at 34% (another huge failure on republicans), he gave tax breaks to rich corporations who are worth billions including oil companies (oil companies were given $8 billion in tax breaks every year from 2002-2009), really? $8 billion in tax breaks for a industry that is raping the people of this country?, tax breaks to corporations when all they do is send their jobs overseas leaving their own people to suffer with no jobs? Seems republicans love to hand out big time money rewards to corporations and banks and industries that do NOTHING to help us!!

The population has been pounded with Marxist Liberal brainwash ever since LBJ imposed his "Great Society" crap. Take carefully note, our 2nd Amendment is still intact, and those Million or so ugly black assault rifles in Patriotic American closets are keeping it that way, a most effective deterrent just as our founders anticipated.

    Why not?

I mean - he's fulfilled the majority of what he campaigned on.

Americans are rightly afraid of Republicans.

When Republicans are in power - they destroy things.

Were you living in the world when the Economic Collapse occurred in 2008?

Eight Million jobs were lost - while Republicans were standing around like Rabbits staring into automobile headlights.

Republicanism - in addition to being a Morally Vacant Ideology - - - is the Party of Incompetence.

Why not? When he came in the economy was loosing 750,000 jobs a month. Now for almost a year straight the economy has experienced job growth, and in the last couple of months, job growth that exceeds 200,000 jobs a month. Add to that that Bin laden's dead, and the troops are out of Iraq. Why not support him?

    5 main reasons

    1. they really don't pay much attention to politics and think " oh my life is fine" and vote for him on election day

    2. they always just vote straight Democrat and don't think about it ( I know some people who just vote only based on party however even though I am usually Republican ( because I am Conservative) I vote for Independents , Democrats, and Libertarians about a quarter of the time)

    3. They choose between " the lesser of two evils" and think President Obama is better than the alternative

    4. they are flaming liberals/progressives

Now I am for anyone but Obama currently in the Republican field although Gingrich would be hard to vote for I'd just be voting AGAINST President Obama

Source(s): I almost voted for him in 2008 but once Palin came I discovered he was the wrong choice

Because they have mushy minds that are easily indoctrinated by the Liberal media and college professors.
