Do you think there would be less clutter in comics/animation if?

People would use google and websites like myanimelist.net?

Cause I sure do...

Maybe, yes. (this applies to every single category, not just comics/animation)

But there are some people that don't know WHAT (or how) exactly to search, even if they do, they aren't satisfied (some are just really lazy).

Most questions I've seen are asking for anime recommendations, you don't want to waste your time watching an anime that's not worth it so you ask other people who have watch it already. Also, some ask for summaries or re-cap of what happened in some anime and you can't just find it in google especially when that anime is not very popular. Another is "who is this character" and "what is this anime", some people saw an interesting anime/character but they don't know who it is. For example, you saw a blonde haired anime girl and you want to know who she is. Even if you google "blonde haired anime girl", there will be thousands of returns and it will take you some time to find your answer, but if you post it here, give a description or link and someone happens to know the anime/character, then your problem is solved. Another is anime ost in certain episodes. Some ost are really good you want to know what it is but you can't ask google "what is this ost in this anime" so most resorts to Y!Answers.
