Question about shipping?
Hi, I was wondering how long it would take a package to get from Madrid, Spain to El Paso, Texas? I have no idea how my friend is going to ship it (like what service he will use) but does anyone know a general time span that it could take? It is probably just a five pound box. I am expecting him to ship it by March 20, does anyone know if I will get it by May 3rd?

It depends on how it's shipped. Most things that I send between my homes in the US and Italy take around 8 days. However, it depends a lot on how long it takes to go through customs. If the paperwork isn't complete and correct, if there's some question about the value of the package or whether the item is legal in the US, it can take much longer. I've had things take as long as 8 weeks on a few occasions. It's likely that you will get the package by the 3rd if it's sent 20 March, but not guaranteed.
