You can probably find some copper core wires, They used them until the mid 70's or so. Pretty much any car that used points used them. I'd look for a 60's domestic six cylinder plug wires. I did some looking for you and found some low resistance wires for a 66 chevy biscayne with a 6 cylinder on napa prolink, for 49.95. Something like that would probably do. There are more options but I don't want to spend all night on this post...just sayin..

a similar AC Delco plugs that have been initially put in from the generating unit. GM installs AC Delco platinum plugs and recommends they be replaced each and every a hundred,000 miles. So in case you install a set of those production unit kind plugs they're going to maximum probable be the final set you will ever set up. you besides mght won't spend too a lot money. Any greater useful plug is overkill and a waste of money. while you're at it set up a clean set of plug wires. Use a mid grade set, not too high priced yet not too inexpensive. returned, maximum probable the final set you will ever set up. a pair of extra suggestions. on the grounds that spark plugs and wires final so long on a fashionable motor vehicle there are a pair of extra steps you may take. maximum present day autos use aluminum cylinder head(s). upload somewhat of anti-grab compound to the threads and this might cause them to easier to do away with if mandatory interior the destiny. slightly anti-grab compound is going a protracted way. upload a dab of dielectric grease to the spark plug boots. this way they gained't get caught to the spark plugs and you may do away with them if mandatory interior the destiny. This additionally facilitates seal out moisture.

You will probably need to make them from a universal spark plug wire set. You can get them for around 30 or 40 bucks from Jegs. Most auto parts store carry them too. Or shop around on Jegs.

Northwestern auto supply. I think they have a website but you gotta call them. They are staffed by old geezers who know their stuff. I had a 49 Mercury and they helped me with parts in the past.
