Instructions
1
Log in. Go to the Facebook home page and log in to your account. If you don't have a Facebook account, you can create one in just a few minutes from the Facebook home page.
2
Locate the "Edit" tab on the top of your personal Facebook home page. There is a menu bar at the top with four bold options--profile, friends, network and inbox. Next to the profile link there is a link in normal font to edit your profile. Click on this link.
3
Locate the personal link. Your basic information will appear on the page. At the top of this section, there are tabs for other, more detailed sections of your profile. Click on the tab that says "Personal."
4
Fill in the fields. All the possible fields in which you can enter your personal information will be on the screen. Enter the appropriate interests in the appropriate category. You do not have to enter information for all the categories, and those that are left blank will not appear in your profile. Once you are finished, click "Save changes."
5
Review your information. Go to your Facebook profile and make sure that all of your personal information is correct on your profile page.
I want to make all my of past posts visible to only friends.
.
If you’re concerned about who can see your past posts, there’s a privacy tool to limit the audience for anything you've shared with more than your friends (ex: Public posts).
Go to Account > Privacy Settings > Limit the Audience for Past Posts > Manage past post visibility.
Some important notes about this tool:
■You can’t undo this action.
■This may result in people losing access to things that they previously commented on.
■People who are tagged and their friends can always see those posts as well.
■The tool limits visibility of past posts that were available to more than friends on your Wall
(timeline); it doesn’t make any posts that had a more private or custom setting open to Friends.
■You also have the option to individually change the audience of your posts. Just go to the post you want to change and choose a different audience.
■Remember: people who are tagged and their friends may see those posts as well.
