Have you had experience taking your dog overseas?
What was the experience like? How old & big were they and did you fly them in cargo? How did that work out? What country did you go to & what was the quarantine process? What about the country was it dog friendly?

I have been to Denmark with my dog a few times. For me it is rather easy, since i already live in the EU i only needed to do some paperwork and get her a health check and some shots. Ask around and look it up on the net to see what requirements the country has. First time she was only 16 weeks, but it was no problem at all. I had her in the cabin since she is a small dog and she slept for the whole flight. Generally I think it's fine to fly a dog in the cargo if you check with the airline to make sure they have a heated room for live cargo and if your dog is used to being alone. Longer flights though, i imagine, can be potentially traumatic for the dog, and I probably wouldn't fly a puppy in cargo.
