Why is the Democratic party more culturally diverse than the Republican Party?
There are many exceptions of course and I know I am blatantly generalizing, but for the most part Republicans consist of white Christians and mostly men over 40. Whereas Democrats I find come from all walks of life.
What does it say about the Republican Party that it only seems to cater to a specific group of people?
Why should a recent immigrant (who happens to be Muslim, Buddhist or any other religion besides Christian) who just became a naturalized citizen vote for the Republican party? Unless, they happen to be the wealthiest 1%, how would it benefit them in anyway to vote Republican?

Some of the ideals the Republican party has pushed can be misconstrued as against non-rich whites. Often this is helped along and more often than not, zealously pushed by those on the other side.
-Illegal immigration: While many Republicans are against illegal immigration yet in full support of it occurring legally, their political opponents will shout that Republicans and racist and anti-immigrant.
- Welfare: While Republicans would rather see people holding jobs instead of being dependent on government aid for generations, their opponents on the left will say that right wingers hate the poor.
-Affirmative action: Many Republicans see this as just another offensive form of racism as what it basically tells minority children is that they are too stupid to get into college or the like without someone to help them. Unless the government props them up they cannot succeed in life. Opponents of the Republicans instead will say they are being racist.
Republicans seem to only cater to a specific group of people because that is what their political opponents try so hard to make you believe. In reality this "specific group" that they cater to is the American people as a whole. Just with ideas that on the surface, in the first step of a thought process, don't sound touchy-feely nice.

The democratic party is a "big tent" party, while the republican party is a "small tent" party.
In a small tent, it is highly encouraged to stay within the same line of dialogue, to work toward identical goals, and with minimal dissent and disruptions to the processes, along a strictly defined line.
A big tent party tends to have much more flexible requirements to entry, and a larger group of voices who may not agree with one another, but work toward finding the best solutions in the long run.
Both have flaws and both have advantages. One of the democratic party's advantages is diversity in thought and opinion, not just race. The downside is its hard to get everyone to agre, but the party remains resilient due heavily to this flexibility.
The republicans main flaw is much like genetics: if you keep repeating the same sequence throughout generations, any disruptive tendencies have a much higher chance of spreading across the whole. The flexibility is so slim that too much weight from any direction can send it crashing. The upside is when they can use their numbers to push through an agenda fast.

Because the Marxist Democrats attract the worst people from EVERY culture and do not discriminate. The Marxist Democrats love the worst in everybody and the worst in everybody loves them. They have built their party the last 75 years from the worst people in America promoting, excusing and rewarding sloth in every possible way. And the sloths from all races, colors and creeds, promote, excuse and reward the Marxist Democrats with their vote, loyalty and activism. Because they have no real inner moral compass, the pseudo-credibilty of the Marxists make them feel validated.
They think if something is legal, it is right, because they don't know what right is. So they believe the Marxists that tell them they are right to be amorous with each other's anal sphincters, to take Welfare money, murder their children, take Union pay that will eventually put a business out of business, etc. And it would be a hoot to see how proud and defensive they are of their validated righteousness, bought and paid for with tax payer money and the downfall of a once great nation if it weren't so incredibly sad.

Ever since the 1960s was passed the party shifted from white blue collar to everyone in between. Democrats are more likely to look out for immigrants and people that are different. And please define American Culture.
