What's wrong with our fridge?
This is a pretty new (2006?) Amana top fridge/bottom pull-out freezer, no water dispenser. Last night the door was acting a little odd, like I was having to pull really hard to get it open, like it was suctioned shut. This morning and now, things are pretty warm in there, about 60F. The bottom freezer is working just fine.
Anyone have any idea what this could be? Maybe around how much it would cost to get fixed? Is it anything we could fix ourselves? Thanks for anyone who can answer.

I try adjusting the thermostat to a lower setting and if this doesn`t correct the problem try pulling the fridge away from the wall and clean the compresser vents and blades which are near the bottom But Make Sure you unplug the refrigerator first

Your refrigerator is low on Freon and desires to be seen via a refrigeration guy or replaced. on occasion your compressor ought to be going out and that is as low-value to purchase yet another new equipment than mess with that. as a strategies because of the fact the meals being very properly to consume, you are able to desire to get a thermostat and spot how chilly it particularly is interior the unit. i would not choose to clutter with something above forty ranges yet even then if meals are going undesirable quite immediately, i might bypass forward and purchase a clean equipment and be executed with it. Watch the unit and if it runs consistently it particularly is low. If there is ice everywhere it won't be is yet another indication that is low on Freon.

Fiddle with the thermo knob and switch it off for a while.
