If Iran were allowed to develop a nuclear weapon, how long before they would use one?

I seriously doubt that the world would ever wake up one morning to read the news headline that nuclear tipped missiles had been fired at Israel. Nor do I believe they would arm a terrorist organization with one. I do believe they will eventually have these weapons and that would be far easier to live with, something which is years in the future, than the war and economic disaster which seems imminent.

if Iran used a nuclear weapon against anyone..(even their own people) then that would be the end of their little empire..Iran probably won't do this as it would be suicide on their part

Your faith that Iran would not arm terrorists with a nuclear weapon is really quite foolish.

Iran will never have a nuclear stockpile that would rival the superpowers. They cannot, as they do not have the natural resources to build that many weapons.

The next point is that the Persian Gulf is one of the most heavily monitored areas in the world. To say that there are so many radars covering the area that seagulls get fried in mid flight is somewhat of an exaggeration, but not by much.

The point is that there is no way Iran could launch an attack without a radar trail leading right back to them, and massive retaliation would follow within the hour.

The Mullahs are crazy, and they are fanatics, but they are not suicidal

Remember that the goal of the Mullahs is to recreate the Muslim Empire of the Middle Ages. To accomplish that goal they must weaken the western powers so that they can expand their influence. The basis of western economies is oil, so that is what Iran wants to attack and control.

If Iran was to build a man portable nuclear weapon and have a terrorist deliver it to Riyadh, what would happen?

With the Saudi royal family removed, Saudi Arabia would fall into chaos as various groups fought for control of the riches.

The group from Iran would have the advantage of being ready, and Saudi Arabia could fall into their hands like a ripe plum.

The western powers would not be able to retaliate because there was no proof where the weapon came from. By the time there was proof, it would be too late.

In one move, Iran controls both sides of the Persian Gulf, and with control of the Saudi reserves, plus their own, hold the whip hand as far as the western powers are concerned.

With the control of Saudi Arabia, Iran controls Mecca, and now controls the Muslim religion, as they crush their hated Sunni rivals.

Make no mistake, Iran has plans, and they do not have your best interests at heart.

If Iran is allowed to develop nuclear weapons they will be even more aggressive than now.

They would think that they are untouchable.

They would push the limits until the missiles start to fly.

I don't like that missile from Israel to Iran, and Iran to Israel, fly over my head...my goats is very frightened!

sure. If Iran is coming up nuclear guns, then they have were doing it lengthy before Obama repealed do not Ask, do not tell. How does allowing gays to serve brazenly contained in the military weaken u.s.'s military readiness? i ought to argue that it makes u.s.'s military extra waiting now that the gays do not could be hectic about preserving their sexual alternatives secret. infantrymen already knew which of their comrades in palms were gay, so I doubt the actual incontrovertible actuality that gays do not could hide anymore adjustments some thing there.

  • There are reasons to believe it would not take very long. Iran could wipe Israel out with 1 or 2 nuclear weapons. There is a chance that Iran would not be completely wiped out in return because it is much bigger than Israel. Iran would consider that a win worth "playing" for.

They can use the nuclear weapon at any moment if they developed nuclear weapon but I think they will not allowed to develop one, ever, as it's very harmful.

the bible says the earth will be destroyed by a fervent heat... sounds nuclear to me... prepare for eternity ... i dont think iran will be so quick to use a nuke at least not so soon. I think Israel will deal with the situation as they see fit...
