What amazes me is that the bible thumping conservatives think climate change is an American anti-religion political thing started up by liberals, when in reality it is a GLOBAL scientific issue. United States is the only country with morons like Santorum.

I have no religion, but I have common sense, have studied the science and seen the trends. That is why I understand that global warming is a real phenomena and not some cooked up plot as the teabaggers and idiots such as Santorum would have us all believe.

Santorum's remarks about "carbon dioxide not being harmful to a plant" misses the mark of why elevated CO2 levels are harmful to the planet.

It's the greenhouse effect of the gas, not its effect on plants that is the concern.

It's not global warming!! FFS it hasnt been for ages. Climate change is the propper and apropriate name for the changes in climate (clever huh?). It is true, atleast according to stats and figures! :P The real question is is it natural or man made? Either way, most harmful gases that we aim to stop cause other problems such as acid rain.

Not good enough. Santorum is still against owning certain types of animals as pets, therefore, he's still animal welfare/rights which is a part of the global warming green/eco movement.
