You can always be caught. Tor is not intended for use with file sharing networks. The link capacity is already strangled due to assholes like you abusing the network for large file transfers. Tragedy of the commons, truly.

PeerBlock is at best, a placebo effect. It makes You think you're safe but you're really not actually. All it does is block potential peers. All of those anti-piracy organizations change their IP addresses too rapidly for any blocklist to keep up with honestly.
Never use TOR while torrenting. EVER. It's slow and even LESS safe for You.
Steps to be safe(r):
1.) Join some private trackers. This can be achieved by joining www.torrent-invites.com and being invited through there.
2.) Pay for a VPN or VPS to tunnel your traffic through.
3.) Pay for a seedbox.
4.) Never use the same browser for torrenting as You do for social networking, online banking, etc.
Tips: If You join any private trackers and You use TOR, You WILL be banned.
If You join any private trackers and log in using a VPN or proxy, You WILL be banned.
I recommend Firefox for torrenting because of it's security addons and something else for all your other daily activities.

that is outdated.
use peerblock 1.0 beta.
http://www.peerblock.com/releases/public-releases/...
bottom of page is mirror link
its a must have if ising pirate bay or other torrent sites bc certain people like rosetta stone and many others will bust your ***. you can block all http or allow. i never have my comp on without it.
Dont listen to anybody that says you will not get caught. they have no idea what you are downloading. Its not about how many items your are pirating, its about who you are stealing from and how much they care.
have fun
