I ate a five pound lobster today and it was just as tender as any small one I'e had, is lobster....?

size and tenderness a myth?

    Five pounds is about the maximum size for a lobster to still be tender. Size versus tenderness is not a myth, because size = age and older = tougher. But, a five pounder is still young enough to be tender.

  • No, I love to cook adn im all abotu food Some lobster's dependig on their Size they will be more tender and juicer. If its small its most likely to be dry
