My husband and I go to the local Senior Center most days and have lunch there. One of the women sat at our table with us; she's in a wheel chair. She was saying how cold she was. I asked if a jacket would help and she said yes. So I took mine off the back of my chair and put it around her, brought the long sleeves forward and tucked them around her neck. I told her no back talk - just wear it home and bring it back. I had another jacket in the car, really I did. I did this because I did not want this nice lady to sit there cold and then go home still cold. Also, it was a nice way to become better acquainted with her.

I was sitting at a red light waiting for it to change and I could see the guy in oncoming traffic fidgiting with an unlit cigarette in his mouth like as if he was looking for a lighter. So, when the light changed and we passed each other I flipped a lit cigarette into his window. I heard him cuss and I'm like? Hello? You should be glad I offered you a light! I still had a few drags on that PallMall red! The nerve of some people complaining when you try to help them.
I gotta go. I'm at the next red light and the guy in oncoming traffic looks like he is thirsty. You think I ought to donate him my quart bottle of Budweiser as we pass each other?

The last kind thing I've done was help build and then paint my neighbor's fence. They are an elderly couple, and were very pleased to have some help without having to pay someone.
It feels good to help other people.

I like to believe that sometimes I help people with my answers here. People say "thank you" but I will never really know if I really helped. That counts as kind, right?

I helped my teacher after school. I did it because she obviously needed help so I to do the right thing. I feels better to do the right thing than the wrong thing.
