Um, no. They should be fired. Any stories of creation that are tied to any religion cannot be taught as science, because they are not backed up by scientific evidence. Same with a teacher who teaches the creation story as told in Genesis in the Holy Bible.
Why did you direct this question solely to Christians? We're not all Creationists.

If you're talking about the US, and public schools, yes they should lose their job. Promoting any religious view as fact is a direct violation of separation of church and state. This goes for Christianity, Muslim faiths, Flying Spaghetti Monster, basically any religion.
No, their religion is not being persecuted. The only way that they could claim religious persecution is if other religious views were being promoted, but not theirs, due to freedom of religion. Separation of church and state allows for avoiding these sticky situations.

Public Schools cannot teach religious beliefs of any kind as fact.
If a teacher does that, he or she is teaching religion, and risks censure, or loss of their position.
A report to the School Board, and the school Principal should be made ASAP.

Which myth? The one from the Rig Veda which ends the verse which is not even a creation myth since it does not really postulate anything about creation? The one from the Puranas with Vishnu and his infinite snake on the ocean of milk which is purely symbolic?

i'm guessing they are going to say "i might place it on an identical floor as Biblical Creationism. yet another thought." b/c they understand that's what they're meant to assert to get Creationism in faculties (no longer that their words right here truly have any result) yet, while their little ones carry homestead a attempt on, i do no longer understand, Vishnu or some god, turning out to be the international, they are going to turn a lid.
