I need a California DMV Brake and Lamp Inspection. Have cracked tail light. Will it pass if I glue it back on?

I have a salvage titled vehicle. Because of that I need to take it for a Brake and Lamp Inspection in order to get my CA title and plates. It was recently backed into a pole and the driver tail light now has a small crack in the corner and is loose. If I use some epoxy on it do it is no longer loose, do you think that should be ok? Tail light works fine. I don't care about the appearance. Thanks
