My daughter is an amature photographer. She did some B&W photos for a school project and sent me the negatives. Where can I take them to be processed? I want good quality larger prints. Also let me know if I need to include special instructions and an example of how much I can expect to pay per print. Thanks in advance.

I need to know how much I can expect to be paid for tomorrow. Tomorrow is a holiday so I will already be paid time and a half my my regularly scheduled 8.5 hrs tomorrow. My employer asked that I return to work at a different location that same day. I will be getting off work at 9:30 pm and reporting to the other location at 10 pm to work until 4:30 the next day. This means I will have worked 11.5 hrs by the time midnight rolls around not counting the half hour between going from one job site to the other. I believe this is counted as the same work day until midnight but there is the half hour gap and the holiday pay part that is confusing to me. Can anyone explain how my pay will work? It would be especially appreciated if you can point me to a page that explains this. Thanks in advance.

I don't know what action I can take here. I lost my wallet a couple months ago, I reported it lost and handled the fraudulent use of my cards, etc right away. Shortly after this person who used my cards opened an account at a local, shady department store and and maxed out the new account. I called the store's fraud department and was assured the card was closed. A few weeks later I discovered it was not and now the account balance has increased by about $1,000 AFTER being maxed. I have called the fraud department and emailed but I am being ignored. They know that I want this account closed and choose to allow it to stay open. This is irritating and the only reason I can think of why they are choosing to do this is so they can deny my fraud claim and come after me for as much $$$ as possible. I called and filied a complaint with the FTC a couple weeks ago due to the store opening this account while I have a fraud alert attached to my credit reports. At that time I had assumed the account had been closed. What can I do? Who can I report this to?

I lost my wallet last month. Realized I'd lost it about 18 hrs later. I know it's stupid but my social security card was in there along with my credit cards and other personal information. Whoever found the wallet used

my credit cards, sent a wire transfer and tried to open new cards in my name. They were successful opening an account with a store I'd never heard of until seeing it on my Experian credit report. I'm worried I won't be able to prove this account isn't mine as this person knows enough personal information to open new accounts. I called the store and they want me to jump through all sorts of hoops to prove the account isn't mine including making trips to their main office which is far and being that I work all the time, I don't have time for. The store refuses to give me the 'personal' information provided by the person who opened the account, even though the account is supposedly mine and I explained I'd like it to include in a police report. Any suggestions? Thanks

I have a salvage title vehicle and DMV wants Brake and Lamp inspection. Car was backed into a poll a couple weeks ago. The clear plastic cover over the tail light cracked. I was going to Use some epoxy to reattach it but It fell off and was lost. Tail light functions fine, no issues as far as I can tell, just missing clear plastic cover. Can anyone tell me if it will pass or if I should have it replaced first? I don't have the money to replace it right now and would like to hold off on that if possible. Also can I be pulled over and be given a fix-it ticket over this? I'd like to know from somebody who knows and can give me the info I need instead of guessing. Thanks on advance.

I have a salvage titled vehicle. Because of that I need to take it for a Brake and Lamp Inspection in order to get my CA title and plates. It was recently backed into a pole and the driver tail light now has a small crack in the corner and is loose. If I use some epoxy on it do it is no longer loose, do you think that should be ok? Tail light works fine. I don't care about the appearance. Thanks

I was sitting in my car at a motel I am currently staying at. Two police officers approached me and one ordered me out of my car. He immediately took the tone that I was doing something wrong and ordered me to put my cigarette out and put my hands on my head, etc. when I asked the reason he immediately started to question if I was in possesion any drugs (in a very accusatory tone) then proceeded to point at my NY plates stating that was the reason. He also stated because I have a temporary tag from the DMV on the car and asked if it was stolen. He continued to ask me about drugs and if I had anything illegal in the car. I was ordered to empty my pockets, patted down and told to sit on the asphalt. I was asked if the car could be searched which I allowed. I did not have ID as it was stolen but they ran the information I provided and proceeded to release me as the car is mine and I have never been arrested.

I don't feel this was legal as I know I wasn't breaking any law. I was detained about 15 minutes and at no time during this encounter did I feel free to go. I volunteered all information needed. I don't feel there was a valid reason for the encounter or all the drug related questions. The way I was approached the officer doing all of the talking made me feel though I specifically was under suspicion for drug activity.

So my question is, does this seem lawful and valid? Specifics as to why or why not would be appreciated. I'm hoping someone who is a current or former LEO can answer. Thanks

My wallet was stolen over the weekend and the scumbag maxed out my cards. They made several cash advances against my Capital One MasterCard. What I don't understand is how they were able to do this when I never set up a pin. Don't you need a pin to do this? Not sure how the process works since I've never used this feature on any of my cards. If someone could explain it to me I'd appreciate it. Thanks

My car has a a couple instances recently where it died. Got it jumpEd and was fine. Last time it died was because I sat and listened to the radio a while so I'm careful about not doing that anymore. The battery is a little over a year old, had it checked right after the last jump and they said it was still good. They hooked my car up and gave the starting system a quick check and said its fine too. Today my car made that familiar clicking noise when starting it, started without a problem but I'm concerned. What should i look into getting checked? The car is newer. It's a 2007 Nissan Sentra. Thanks

The motel I was staying had bug issues and they set off three bug bombs in what is about a. 300 square ft space. Some of clothing has what appears fading and in those areas the fabric is brittle and smells burned. There is nothing else that couldv've caused this. Has anyone else experienced this kind of problem? I don't think the guy who owns the motel will believe me and I need supporting information, web pages etc. thanks

The manual sucks and I just need to know how to charge my battery with this thing. I've looked online but people seem to only use this to charge lawnmowers (even though this is for cars too). Even then, people are saying plug it while charging or don't, attach both the pos and neg clips to battery or ground the neg. Its confusing. Only answer if you know how to use this particular charger since there are all different kinds and not all work the same. Thanks

What would be the best way to go about becoming an RN? I am close to completing 6 months of school at a community college in an unrelated field. Should I get an AA from the school I'm currently attending and then try to get into a pre-nursing program at one of the Cal State schools or should I go for LVN at my current school then go into nursing school to pursue RN? Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks

My daught just turned 18 and I want to help her build her credit. I plan on getting a secured loan for myself to help build my credit but I was wondering if anyone knows if joint loans with children are possible? If so where might I obtain one and do we need to share the same address? If its not possible to do this I'm probably just going to go with her to obtain a loan in her name and handle the financial aspect of it.

My ex and I moved across the country in July of last year. I shipped my 52" tv to her friend's house where the friend agreed to hold on to it for us. There was no issues until the girlfriend and I broke up a couple months ago and she moved in with her friend. After about six weeks I decided to ask her if I could pick up my tv so I could put in storage as I have no place to put it now. She informed me that she was keeping my tv although I again told her I wanted it but she could keep the 32" tv of ours that she also had and was specific in saying which tv in the text. I was informed she was selling it so I texted her and she acknowledged that she knowingly sold something that was not hers to sell. She stated that because she told me she was keeping that I was ok with this (besides she's not working and needed money, etc). I'm angry because with the shipping I had invested just over 2k into this tv that I can no longer recover. I'm thinking of suing her but the tv was in her possesion and the only proof I have of ownership is the texts. Any thoughts (besides I never should've had the tv remain at her friend's in the first place)?

I went to a recruitment they had for Code-4 at the EDD in El Monte. They're affiliated and supposedly send people to work with Metro Patrol (not to be confused with Los Angeles Metro Police) after they send them for training. They promised everyone who signed up with them jobs and now I'm getting the run around about when we (me, my wife and our friend) will go for training. Code-4 said EDD is paying for the training and EDD is telling me they don't. Does anyone know anything about either Code-4 or Metro Patrol Services? Obviously I think I know all I need to know now. We paid them $35 a piece for background checks which I'm now going to have to try to get back. If I can't get it from them, how do I go about getting it back? I don't want to go to Small Claims for such a small amount, but I don't want to just let them just walk away with it. So I guess this is a two part question. Any information or suggestions is appreciated. Thanks
