If I make something out of fabric for my mice, will they eat it?

I want to make them a bed like for guinea pigs but super small because its going to be winter soon and they might get a bit cold, I'm worried that they will eat it tho, will they?

Polar fleece is recommended as a safe fabric to use with mice. Cotton fabric is considered unsafe because it has too many loose threads that may get caught on little limbs. Your mice may chew a hole through the fabric, but are unlikely to ingest it. Fabrics that expand are the ones you need to be concerned with as they can cause death if any gets swallowed. TFM discusses fleece as safe in the link for making a toy below:

Do you have instructions for making cozies? If not, the CavyCages forum does in the Accessories section of the following link:

How kind you are to want to ensure your little one stays warm. I hope your Winter is as mild as the one we just had here in Ohio.

dont make it out of other guinea pigs because then they'd get all cannibalistic.
