PLEASE HELP!!!!!! I need help to do with laptops!!!!!!!!?

So, you're going to RMA the laptop to the manufacturer to get the jack replaced, but want to save your data first.

I suggest you bring the laptop hard drive to the store to make sure you get the right connector -sata is easy to identify but is your laptop hard drive IDE, SATA, PATA, this is what you have to know and the reason why it is better to bring it

You should try to plug the charger to your laptop without insert the battery.then start your laptop it will be start up because there is no need of battery if your laptop is connected to the power plug.
