fellow Christians: do you believe in a premortal existence?
or more explicitly,
do you believe your spirit began its existence on the day you were conceived? (or born)
or do you believe your spirit existed before then?

I believe God placed my spirit inside me the day I was conceived. As soon as the sperm reached that egg and the cells started growing, my spirit entered.

You stated in another answer that god let things happen (in the Holocaust because death is not the worst thing that can happen to some one (or something close to this idea.)
And yes indeed, death is not the worst thing....
(but a long, tortuous vicious dying process of dying, of seeing one's children die in the concentration camp, of being worked to sheer exhaustion, being raped by guards, and being so sick from lack of food is in the area of SUFFERING, beyond even a little.
That, god could have prevented....if god were real, and interfered in our lives for the good.
Hope you see the difference.
Peace.

Scripture says it is given to man once to die. That means there is no prior existence.
