Hey! I'm not the one who chooses to separate AFRICAN AMERICANS from American. You want it? You got it and all that goes with it.

I am on the right and I have never heard any one say the majority of welfare recipients were black. We know it used to be whites. But Hispanic is rapidly taking that #1 spot.

But if you read the newspapers and watch the TV (mostly controlled by liberals) it is very easy to get that impression.

they dont claim most are black they claim blacks are more likely to claim, which demographically is true, when you consider the percentage of black people in the US and the percentage of claimants that are black

Considering that blacks are a minority...then the PROPORTION of blacks on welfare is much GREATER compared with whites.
