Look at the root cause of urban decay. Manufacturing jobs shipped overseas leaving abandoned factories behind. No factories no jobs. With no jobs people who can move away leaving depressed housing values.

The Baby Boomer generation complains about Obama Care and yet they have no problems accepting Medicare. Isn't that hypocritical?

what really happened in the last 11 years? It's actually just like this:

Your significant other (Bush) takes 8 years and maxes our your credit cards (two wars, lax controls on financial institutions, tax breaks for the wealthy) and then hands you the bill when it comes due. Then you get a pay cut (two tax cuts for the wealthy, lower tax income due to the unemployed) . How long will it take you to pay off that debt? Can you do it in 3 years AND do it without making cuts and/or going further in debt?

Oh and your brother-in-law (GM and Chrysler) needs so cash to keep his business afloat to keep some other relatives working. (Fortunately, he (GM and Chrysler) paid you back sooner then expected and with interest. Whew.)

Oh and you managed to take out the bully (Osama AND many other high value targets) that helped to start this mess in the first place.

This is EXACTLY where Obama sits. Bush ran up the deficit (and granted, much of it was needed to counter 9/11). And also, remember that Bush paid out the first TARP (bailout) money with no questions asked and no strings attached!

Again, the deficit is not 100% Bush's fault but neither is it Obama's fault. But if you looked at the positive growth under Obama and not where we stand, his record is actually one of the best in history.

No he's not God or perfect but really, stop with the false accusations and "Birther" crap. And no you are not a racists if you vote against him. You are when you use references like I've seen here such as "the brown stain on America's tighty whities" or references to picking cotton or , well you get the picture.

And remember, he is no less WHITE than is George Zimmerman.

that was NOT created as a direct result of an individual or company doing something illegal, immoral, stupid, dangerous of just plain stupid.

Think about it. Let it pass, close the gaping corporate tax loopholes and then the Left can no longer claim that the system isn't fair. By fighting it, the Right only perpetuates the stereotype that is the party of the super rich.

No one claims it will solve the deficit so pass it and then you can say "Look, we're even. Now what are you willing to cut?"

Why do so many on the Right like to cite bloggers and op eds pieces as hard news?

Who people come here and ask questions based on a commentary they heard on a 24 hour news show, or heard on the radio or read via a forwarded email? Why not do your homework and read the ACTUAL bills, laws, speeches and yes, the Constitution and it's Amendments?

I mean do you even know the difference between news and commentary? Between facts and hearsay? Between truth and Opinion?

Commentary, talk, round table, and Friends are NOT news shows.

And ANYONE can find an "expert" to prove his/her point. Do you think those taking heads go on TV for free?

The world is not that simple people.

The last time the US pulled all aid out of Afghanistan (after the Soviets left) the Taliban took over. And who trained there? The 9/11 terrorists.

Don't like Obama care? Who do you think pays for the health care on the uninsured? You do though higher insurance rates.

Want the president to lower gas prices? Then why complain about him being a Socialists?

Don't like federal government assistance? Then states like Alabama (who get $1.66 for each $1.00 they pay to the feds) can pay the difference back.

Political party (Conservative, Tea Party, Libertarian, Liberal) loyalists: is it OK to use false statements to further your cause if you feel it's for the greater good?
