fellow christians: is there any evidence for life beginning at conception?

i don't recall the bible saying that life begins at conception, so... how did we come to that conclusion?

also, is an unborn fetus subject to original sin? or is original sin something you get after you're born?

(i don't actually believe in original sin, i just want to know what the consensus is...)

as we believe, humans are body and soul, so if the body starts to form at the moment of conception so does the soul------------in the bible it says all men are BORN WITH original sin, when the baby is still in the mother's womb it cannot sit as it cannot yet act for itself

    1) fellow christians: is there any evidence for life beginning at conception?

Of course. The zygote is clearly a living cell (cell processes can be witnessed occurring under a microscope) - a living cell with a unique and *human* DNA, verifiably human and verifiably unique.

    2) also, is an unborn fetus subject to original sin?

For those Christians who believe in the doctrine of original sin, I would have to respond: "definitely" - but admit that I may be in error in that regard. For other Christians I would have to respond: "definitely not".

i'm not a christian yet i'm satisfied to take a shot at this one. not each and every thing this is alive is "a" life. no singular element of a man or woman is an self sufficient man or woman even although that section is alive. no person supposes that an appendix or a leg is a life in spite of the undeniable fact that it particularly is a residing element. to me the ridiculous perception equipment is the only that supposes that it is going to become so at some arbitrary factor throughout its progression. not while it particularly is totally stepped forward (at approximately age 21) or while it starts to strengthen (at concept), the two certainly one of that are logical, yet at regardless of factor that a given state makes a decision that the magic pixies flow to and turn the valueless blob in to a real stay toddler (regularly the age of viability or on the time of beginning) and alter healthcare into homicide. this argument won't be able to be logically defended. it demands the main bizzare style of religion. in case you have been in certainty atheist (as am i), you may could reject the tinkerbell perception equipment.

Christians often mention a verse that says God "knew you before he formed you in the womb" but of course since God supposedly knows everything past, present, and future, he would know you long before you were conceived. It doesn't mean you're alive already.

If you read the creation story where God is forming Adam, Adam didn't become a living soul into God breathed the breath of life into him. It's not much of a stretch to think the same concept applies to babies.

The sin nature is passed down - that's why you don't have to teach children to steal, or to be selfish, or to hurt others. But its like a seed of sin or a corruption that will inevitably sprout. But you are only held to account for your own sins. But I believe there is an age where you are held accountable for words and actions - evidence for this is when King David mourns his new born love(lust) child that just died. He basically said the child was in heaven "I will go to Him, but he will not come to me" or words to that effect.

yeah. the very definition of the word conception. let me ask you this, how does God perceive life? before you were ever born you were a thought in the Creator's mind and that is just as conceptual as the sperm fertilizing the egg. in the Bible it says john the baptist showed excitement in his mother's womb when Jesus and mary were near. the holy Spirit didn't include that information in vain. his ministry began before he was born!

"life" obviously begins in the testicles as the sperm are obviously alive while the ovum isn't it is the living sperm reaching and penetrating the ovum that starts the growth to a fetus, if they weren't alive how would they know to do that
