Tired of homework questions?

I am always seeing a bunch of lazy people posting their history and government homework questions on the discussion boards. And they never ask them in the homework section. They ask them here.

One day these people will be eligible to vote and will they have no idea what will happen as a result of how they cast their votes. Why? Because they haven't bothered to learn a little basic history, or even how our government operates.

So for the next week I think that we should answer all homework questions incorrectly. Let's give them some elaborate BS answer that sounds good but is totally incorrect.

Let's see how they like it when someone else does their homework for them!

So, does anyone think this is a good idea!

Update:

OK just some one, if "we" already know how the government operates how can I have property tax bills on my desk from a perish and from a county? What is the difference between the two?

While I'd love to do that with some of the people who are asking just to get their homework done, there are a fair number that just don't grasp what was actually taught in their lessons, and their books are not easy to follow unless they understand the material the homework is trying to get out of them.

So, much as I'd love to follow your idea for a short while, it's not such a good idea for the ones who really want a good answer to help them understand what they are learning.

But, if there was a way to tell one set from the other....

You don't need to know how the government operates. We already know how it operates.

We just need to know why it operates like that.

yeah you can always tell when the question is "explain how the new deal was a great idea" or some crap. Do your own homework kid.

usually, I just try to point them in the right direction, but then someone else comes along and gives them the answer

I would but my conscience would get to me after a while. If it's a tough homework question I will give hints but that's it.

Sometimes I send them links so they can read it for themselves.
