Yes whey protein is a good idea. Whey protein is not just used by bodybuilders, it can be used by anyone whom wants to maintain a healthy diet, especially those whom do regular and intense exercise. This is because during exercise your body injures muscles. Therefore, you need the whey protein as a pure source of protein to repair the muscles quickly. It is good as a quick refuel for protein, otherwise I would suggest to try and get your protein sources from raw food such as tuna, chicken, turkey, eggs etc.
