7 AnswersPhilosophy8 years agoWhat are the results of Whey Protein for cyclists?
I have taken up cycling to lose weight and tone muscle. I am curious to know what the effects of Whey Protein are for a cardio-focused cycling workout. I am naturally stocky, and want to emphasize that I do NOT want to get bigger - I want to get leaner.
In this specific circumstance, is whey protein supplementation a good idea or bad idea?

2 AnswersNew York City1 decade agolooking for yield of herbs?
I am trying to find out the general yield of various herbaceous plants over a given time (measured in fresh ounces or pounds, per month or year, per plant)
The plants are:
1. Basil
2. Cilantro
3. Dill
4. Mint
5. Oregano
6. Parsley
Obviously, these figures vary from species to species, but a ballpark figure is acceptable - I have seen that Basil can produce a pound per square foot over the course of 3 months...but that seems like a lot.

1 AnswerGarden & Landscape1 decade agoDoes anyone know the average nitrogen content difference between manure and compost?
My best guess is that manure has about 5 times more nitrogen than compost per unit of mass, but it is just a guess.
If you can provide a source for your data, it would be much appreciated.
