Are You Thankful for the Iraq War Now that Democracy There is Flourishing and Iraqi Oil Paid the Bill for Us?
Man that Bush was a Genius.
And it only cost 4,000 American lives and 10's of thousands of Iraqi civilians lives. This was a bargain.....Thank you so much Mr. Cheney and Mr. Bush.
MQ...Come on now....It's like Paradise there now. Hell I might even open a travel agency to help all the people who want to bring their families to vaction there.
And people said Bush and Cheney didn't have a clue. Guess those people have egg on their face now. If only Cheney would run for president we could save the world.
Jaker.....I'm sorry. I didn't mean to leave out the Democrats in Congress who also helped America achieve this greatness over there. Thank God neither party declared war like that stupid Constitution says you must do. Thank God Bush took it upon himself and didn't listen to the American people. Boy Bush had guts to ignore the American People.

If you think that Iraq is flourishing with democracy , why not visit Iraq and see it first hand. You will be welcomed with flowers.

Amen...thanks for that, neocons.
Days after the U.S. invasion, then-Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz told a congressional panel that Iraqi oil revenues would help pay for reconstructing the country, i.e. a cost of the war. “The oil revenue of that country could bring between 50 and 100 billion dollars over the course of the next two or three years. We’re dealing with a country that could really finance its own reconstruction, and relatively soon,”
Edit: @jaker...I agree, but lets not forget which party voted most for the war. In the house: Republicans 215 for and only 6 against, and Democrats 82 for and 126 against the war. In the Senate Republicans 48 for and only 1 against, while Democrats were 29 for and 21 against. So saying that the "Democrat controlled congress voted for the war", although true, is misleading, since by far the party voting for it most was the Republicans as the numbers show.
So in total, we have only 7 Republicans voting against it, versus 147 Democrats.

Oh my, thank you. Now it makes sense. Announce the pull out date and pull out the troops before the country is stabilized and against all recommendations. The energy policy is to force us off of Oil and if Iraq had come on line, well he wouldn't have been able to force his green agenda so easily. It all comes together in the end. Thanks for pointing that out.

....Iraqi Oil?
Maybe you haven't seen the gas prices at the moment.
It sure as hell isn't helping the common man, it is definitely helping the rich ones that can afford to invest in commoditys......now where are the fricking jobs that we keep hearing happens with the "trickle down" theory?

No. I wish that the dem controlled Congress, instead of authorizing Bush to go ahead, had refused. They were the real geniuses.

It is sad that people like OSU are more concerned about Iraqi lives than thousands of innocent American soldiers who died.

i am thankful that even the most biased liberals now see that there was no war for oil.

Its wonderful we brought freedom and prosperity to Iraq. They are free now, even though we poisoned the ground of Iraq for many years to come and killed many of their family members. But hurrahh we won! The troops is our heroes. They are great. Ignore the fact we poisoned them with DU and the suicide epidemic in the military. Just keep waving your flag and say we support the troops.
USA! USA! GOD BLESS AMERICA!

So you are OK with Saddam thumbing his nose to us/the UN (we are basically the UN) with his constant UN violations, killing his own people and exploiting resources for personal gain?

I'm thankful that Saddam isn't killing thousands of innocent people anymore; but it's nice to know those innocent lives meant nothing to you.
