what do i do if i'm terrified of my boss?

i'm currently employed at my first job part time but it feels more like a forced labour camp. i said i'd work 20 hours a week max, but last week i worked 30 and a half hours. my boss is verbally abusive and i don't know how much more i can take. for example, he tells me the product i make "looks like ****" and that if i better fix it "or there's the door". he tells me to "stop daydreaming or you'll be doing it at home" while i'm doing dishes. and just the other day he approached me without proof and accused me of yelling at my supervisor in front of customers and taking orders without making them, then told me i was on probation and said he'd fire me on the spot if i didn't change by sunday. i don't usually cry but yesterday after work it was the whole walk home.

what can i do? it took me 6 months to get this job and i'm going to lose it after 3 weeks without justification? i have some dirt on their business practices, if i get fired should i make them known? i have to go back in an hour and i'm praying he won't come in tonight.

Update:

like he'll pull me to the back of the store, ***** me out, then make me go back out there with my tail between my legs, humiliated

Update 2:

i actually kind of hope in the back of my mind that i get fired. at least i won't have to put up with it anymore. i think my supervisor has it in for me too, she's the one who made the complaint

    Hi Dylan,

Your situation is very unfortunate. If you do indeed need the job to support yourself, I suggest you stay on the right side of what is happening, which is the side you are on now. So far, if what you have written is accurate, you have not done anything wrong.

Make sure it stays that way. Honesty is always best policy and if you continue to be bullied you can open up the flood gates and make sure you get what you deserve out of all the mis-treatment. Do not lash out, council with someone close to you to seek help and escilate the situation as necessary.

I hope your situation gets better as soon as possible. I've been caught in the same situations and know how hard it can be!

Its a bad situation if you chose to cling on to this job for financial security, because there is none. The situation is good for a law suite, I'd take a voice recorder with me and make a note of everything. Slap him with an attorney after you've collected enough evidence.
