Migraines from smelling things burning?

Whenever I smell a bonfire, fireplace, even a candle sometimes, I tend to get really bad migraine and sometimes sick to my stomach. For example, there was a construction crew on the road yesterday and they had to use fire for some reason. That smell gave me an instant headache turned migrane later on. I still have to headache and now earache and stomach upset from the migraine just from smelling that smoke for a minute. When my neighbors grill, bonfire, or run their fireplace, I get headaches. Does anyone else have this problem?

In the world of migraines, that is not odd at all. I have ocular migraines and sudden bright lights can bring one on.

Smoke (any kind at all) is a trigger for asthma for many people. So I wish something could be done about so much grilling and bonfires on the weekend. It must be miserable for you!

This house is so big that one part does not smell like the other! The rooms which I no longer use are closed up and I only leave the vent open in there. These rooms have a faint smell of lilac from the wash. I have three rooms like this and one bathroom. The upstairs is a huge media room. It has no smell that I can detect as this was James', "man cave." I cannot smell his cologne there, but his closet is another story! I keep that door closed and when I miss him horribly, I go in there and I can smell him. The open areas in this home all smell like apples and cinnamon. I constant munch on small meals. One is a trail mix I make myself. It has dried apples in this and I have a small bowl on the counter. If I want something sweet and simple, I bake an apple with cinnamon and a tab of butter. In as much, these smells have permeated my home. I can leave and come back only to smell the scent of apples and cinnamon.
