How do I know if I'm in love with my gf?

We've been going out for almost 4 months now, long distance relationship, and have spent about 2 weeks together physically(spring break and christmas break), the rest long distance. I care about her a lot and I do LOVE her but I don't think I'd say im IN love with her. Long story short she though she'd never be able to be in love with anyone because of her past since she went through a lot, and whenever she tells me she loves me and I tell her back, she sometimes says 'I love you more' meaning she's in love with me and is always hoping I'll say it back. But I don't want to lie to her and say that I'm in love with her when I'm not. People say you'll know whether or not you'll want to spend the rest of your life with someone within about 6 months of getting to know them/date them. She makes me really happy and I love her to bits but what do I do? Keep waiting to see if that huge feelings of 'love' overcomes me? Or what? Cause I don't want to lie to her but I don't want to keep hurting her, cause I know it hurts her when she says that and I don't say it back.

I was in the same seat a while ago the best advice anyone told me was to take what you feel put it on a shelf and forget about it. There will be a moment when you know you love her youll look at how yo felt and realise the difference. I remember my moment of falling in love and that was a year and a half ago she sat on my lap after and i was about to tell her that i missed her a college she turned round and punched me then she giggled for ages after and at that moment i felt something undescribable and thats how youll know

if you are you can feel it, you really just know. you get all excited when your phone vibrates thinking its her even if its not, you go to sleep thinking how lucky you are to have her, see her as the most beautiful girl in the world and honestly mean it and just know it

well if you love her , you are prob in love , i mean you are probably holding yourself back , and maybe your having doubt that she is too good nfor you or whatever, dont lose her just because your confused
